Voghera – Via Palazzina 15

The La Palazzina motorhome stopover area is managed by Cooperativa Sociale 381. These regulations set out the conditions of access, booking procedures, and rules for the proper use of pitches and shared facilities.

Introduction

The stopover area is reserved for motorhomes, as defined in Article 54, paragraph 1, letter m, of Italian Legislative Decree No. 285/1992, equipped to transport and accommodate a maximum of 7 people, including the driver. Parking is governed by Article 185 of the Italian Highway Code.

Unauthorised vehicles may be asked to leave or be removed, with any applicable penalties and costs charged to the owner.

Access is also permitted solely to fill up with water or dispose of wastewater. Access to the area and use of its facilities are subject to the rates displayed on site and published on the website.

Art. 1 – Opening Hours

The following hours apply:

  • Check-in: from 7:30 am to 8:00 pm.
  • Check-out: by 8:00 pm.
  • Motorhome service point (toilet cassette disposal): from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
  • Office and reception: from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm, for payments in cash or by debit or credit card.

The daily rate is calculated from the time of arrival until departure. Guests must confirm their departure date with management upon arrival.

Guests wishing to extend their stay must notify management in advance. If no availability remains, they must leave on the agreed date or move to another pitch, if one is available.

The site operates mainly by reservation, so guests are advised to choose their arrival and departure dates carefully.

After using the wastewater disposal points, guests must leave them clean for the next users.

Noise, activities and equipment that may disturb other guests must be avoided at all times.

Stopover Rate

The rate is €15.00 per pitch per day and includes electricity, fresh water filling and wastewater disposal, hot showers, and access to the shared area of the wooden cabin.

Access to the shared area does not include exclusive hire of the cabin for parties or events, which must be booked and paid for separately.

Art. 2 – Length of Stay

The maximum permitted stay is 9 consecutive days.

Management may authorise exceptions to accommodate guests’ particular needs and reserves the right to permit shorter stays.

Art. 3 – Rules and Prohibitions

Use of Pitches

Vehicles may park only in their assigned pitches and must be positioned with their front wheels facing the internal access road.

Camping activities and the storage of materials outside vehicles are prohibited. Guests must not occupy space beyond the boundaries of their pitch, including by extending awnings or sunshades.

Vehicles must be kept at a safe distance from one another and must not obstruct the passage of other vehicles.

Barbecues and cooking equipment may only be used in areas and under conditions authorised by management.

Cleanliness and Waste Sorting

Guests must separate their waste and use the designated recycling facilities. Transparent rubbish bags and other waste must not be left on pitches or in shared areas.

Waste must be placed in the appropriate containers:

  • Organic waste: food scraps and other compostable waste, such as meat, fish, vegetables, fruit, soiled napkins and coffee pods.
  • Plastic: plastic packaging, containers and bottles.
  • Paper and cardboard: newspapers, magazines, books and beverage cartons.
  • Glass and cans: glass bottles and jars, and aluminium cans.

Leaving rubbish, cigarette butts or bulky items on pitches, in flower beds or in shared areas is prohibited.

Outdoor Areas and Equipment

Clotheslines, drying ropes, shade cloths and any other items that may damage plants must not be installed.

Outdoor cooking is permitted only when safety requirements are observed and the area is kept tidy. Cooking equipment and gas cylinders may be placed outside only while in use and must be put away afterwards.

Art. 4 – Entry of Caravans

Caravans may enter the site only with prior written authorisation from management.

Management reserves the right to restrict caravan access to ensure the efficient operation of the site.

During their stay, caravans must remain attached to their towing vehicles.

Additional Rules

Conduct and Safety

  • Digging holes, even small ones, is prohibited. Guests must not damage, modify or alter buildings, plants, green spaces or facilities.
  • Ball games and games involving thrown objects are prohibited, as are washing and hanging laundry outside vehicles.
  • Animals must not be left unattended inside a motorhome if doing so could put their welfare at risk.
  • Cases of animal abandonment that may constitute mistreatment will be reported to the site manager and the relevant authorities.
  • Pet owners must always pick up after their animals, as required by local regulations.
  • Unauthorised vehicles must not be driven through the site with their engines running, even at low noise levels.
  • Televisions, radios and speakers must be kept at a moderate volume to avoid disturbing other guests.
  • Only the vehicle’s original stabilisers may be used, provided they do not cause an obstruction, extend beyond the pitch or damage the ground.
  • Guests must clean their pitch, the water filling and disposal area, and the sanitary facilities after use.

Use of Facilities and Liability

  • Wastewater and organic waste must be disposed of exclusively at the designated facilities. Disposal on roads or in public areas is prohibited and may result in administrative penalties.
  • Suitable equipment must be used when filling up with drinking water. Hoses must not obstruct traffic or endanger people or vehicles.
  • Water may be used only for hygiene, sanitation and food-related purposes.
  • Guests are solely responsible for the proper use of their electrical hook-up and must use cables, connectors and plugs that comply with applicable safety regulations.
  • Only people travelling in the vehicle may stay in it. The number of occupants must not exceed the number stated on the vehicle’s registration certificate.
  • Children must remain under the constant supervision of a responsible adult.
  • In the event of urgent maintenance or for safety reasons, drivers must move their vehicles promptly when requested. If a driver is absent or refuses, the vehicle may be forcibly removed at the guest’s expense, without entitlement to make a claim.
  • Anyone who damages property belonging to the cooperative or the municipality must pay for its repair.
  • Disposal of any liquid or solid material other than that expressly permitted by these regulations is strictly prohibited.

Art. 5 – Reservations

Guests must respect the arrival date and time provided when booking.

Any delay must be reported by email or WhatsApp before the scheduled arrival time. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of the reservation without a refund.

Entry is not permitted after reception closes, even if a delay has been reported.

The vehicle dimensions provided when booking must include any accessories, such as bicycle or motorcycle racks. If the actual dimensions exceed those declared, the reservation will be forfeited without a refund.

Guests must provide a valid telephone number and email address when booking so that they can be contacted.

Useful Information

  • Electricity: each pitch has an electrical hook-up providing a standard power supply of 800 W (3.5 A).
  • Hot showers: included in the price, with a duration of 5 minutes.
  • Drinking water: available from the designated water filling points.
  • Non-drinking water: the water in the sanitary facilities is not suitable for drinking but may be used to rinse food, fruit and other items.
  • Visitors and additional guests: any people joining the travelling party must be reported to management.

By entering and staying at the site, guests accept these regulations in full.
